its been along time, but there is new design

i know its been along time since the last post, but i was buisy this summer with my designing course.

this is a project i been working on it in summer but i am a kind of lazy lady when it comes to photo shooting, on the other side i have a little princess who hates it when i used her on shiitong she keep wining and i hates it.

she suggested the name of the design

I finished my daughter's dress, what is supposed to be for the previous Al Adhha Eid

My husband is my biggest problem when i am talking about sewing, he always hide my sewing machine and stuff so i cant ignore him, that is my reason why i can commit with any sewing project, i know that he have all the rights to be with him specially that i am already have too much things on my mine and i am already busy in my life as a wife, mother and student. I could maybe specify one day for my hobbies " i doubt"

any way, i showed you once my sewing sketch on one of my posts, it was about polka dots with two pleats under her chest

i was confused between the pleats or gathering the whole under chest, but i decided the first one and it become fabulous because i am keeping the gathering for another design

this is how it was before the finishing

i done this fabric flower after i saw some tutorial about it, but i was wondering why i didn't do yo yo flower it will be better.

your noteboard..with your cute touch

I love noteboards, since I was a kid , I wanted to get one but my mom refused since it has pins, but now I understood the reasons since I have kids too Duh! Love you mommy

lets do it:

i got the tools IKEA megnets with holding metal, 1 for 5 Dhs.

and what you need more is:

Thick cardboards

Colorful fabrics, plain satin tape

Anything you want to add for example buttons, flowers

Stuff to help (wax glue , pins)

Make sure the fabric is ironed .. and wrap it as if ur wrapping a gift.. and fix it with the pins .. and then glue it so it won't move.

Put the satin tape on the board's face

 

Then put the metal  where ever you want. by screws that comes with it.

and now we contenuing putting the metal with the screws

and this how its look at the end, lets see now how much notes you stick it there :)

and this is mine, i made for my skitches that i showed in the previous post, now i will make one for my "roe" and one for "Mami".

at last...a holiday for my self

At last I am away from exams and started my holiday. At this course I suffered a lot because of the weekly exams and the pressures, and I wanted to announce that this is my last year at college that’s why I am so "high", can't see, listen and talk.

I was having this gilt of neglect my mami and her study, how ever she brought a wonderful marks at her report.. yaaaaay, and also she understand how busy I was the last months. I was promising her all the time of sewing a Jalabia "long dress with long sleeves", and that what I am planning for the holiday, specially that the last Jalabia was this one and it was a long time a go.

I have done this one for both of my girls mami and miia, but I have done it as blouse for miia because she still young and long dresses will make her hard to move her self.

The other project were supposed to finish for Eid "special celebration day for Muslim"

and its still under construction project "on papers

and on "shelves"

Whatever,

I like to spoil my daughters and her colleagues on class with some handmade stuff and cards, and also I need my daughter to learn a lot about scrapbooking and cards making because she adore cutting papers and making things. That’s why I made special wall for her works, and this is a kind of building her confidence.

As it's shows, she sticked every thing she have on her special wall, and there is this card that we have done it together, and she was very pleased and happy. Any way as I said, I am back to do finish what I started and the unfinished sewing and crafting stuff. So see yah later. tataa
