my daughter was facing some problems with her class mates, thats when we decided to do some felted friendship bracelets to understand what she want to say and to show them what she can do with her mami and actually that what girls like the most, so let me introduce you to this mini tutorial.

know its been  along time since i posted any activity, and i know i promised to show you my work on the previous sewing project, and you know all how buisy i am on my study, house, 4 kids and being a good wife to a wonderful hasbans, and i know that you all understand all of that, so every frienday "muslim's weekend" i go to my family, and my daughter desided to wear her new alfet, it was red and i surpricerd her with 10 minutes hair band, so enjoy what i have done,,

Mami's hair band, my own work

this is my latest work, i made a hair band for my Mami, she doesn't like to have hair on her forehead, so she like it always tidy.

your noteboard..with your cute touch

I love noteboards, since I was a kid , I wanted to get one but my mom refused since it has pins, but now I understood the reasons since I have kids too Duh! Love you mommy

lets do it:

i got the tools IKEA megnets with holding metal, 1 for 5 Dhs.

and what you need more is:

Thick cardboards

Colorful fabrics, plain satin tape

Anything you want to add for example buttons, flowers

Stuff to help (wax glue , pins)

Make sure the fabric is ironed .. and wrap it as if ur wrapping a gift.. and fix it with the pins .. and then glue it so it won't move.

Put the satin tape on the board's face

 

Then put the metal  where ever you want. by screws that comes with it.

This is how it looks before you put the metal

  

and now we contenuing putting the metal with the screws

and this how its look at the end, lets see now how much notes you stick it there :)

and this is mine, i made for my skitches that i showed in the previous post, now i will make one for my "roe" and one for "Mami".

back to school cardmaking,,,mami's card to her teachers

I like it when someone's mother appreciate her daughter's teacher since I was alittle girl in school, I notice the attentions that this student has from her teacher when her mother show her concerns and send so much activities for the teacher to help on the teaching process. For that purpose, I bought the stuff that I will do it to work on this project. Lets see the details together.

 

I printed out from the internet a school jumpers and cut it out.to use it as a patterns

 

I used it on pink paper that look like my daought’s school jumper

I draw a shirt and colored it.
