My husband is my biggest problem when i am talking about sewing, he always hide my sewing machine and stuff so i cant ignore him, that is my reason why i can commit with any sewing project, i know that he have all the rights to be with him specially that i am already have too much things on my mine and i am already busy in my life as a wife, mother and student. I could maybe specify one day for my hobbies " i doubt"

any way, i showed you once my sewing sketch on one of my posts, it was about polka dots with two pleats under her chest

i was confused between the pleats or gathering the whole under chest, but i decided the first one and it become fabulous because i am keeping the gathering for another design
this is how it was before the finishing

i done this fabric flower after i saw some tutorial about it, but i was wondering why i didn't do yo yo flower it will be better.

this is the final look

i saw those small flowers on Daiso

those the pleats

its my first time to do the elastic wrest and i succeeded
congrats to me looool
OK now tell me about it, its my first time to show my sewing work, but it wasn't my first project..

love yah all

I was hoping to get this tools since i was kid, my aunt used to send me to some lady specially to do some of these buttons.
and since i learned sewing, i couldn't get enoughh from buying sewing tools and supplies, but this is the only one i didnt get it till it comes as a gift.

And i celebrated this moment with my favourite forum "UAE women club" by presenting giveaways and the question was hint to know what is the gift.

this is the link for the questionn "its in Arabic"

the first three right answers will get 25 mixed fabric buttons i made by my self, and there are alot of ladies and girls who participate, and this is the link for the announcing the winners "its in Arabic too"

**the first winner**
nanakids owner o nanakids blog

**the second winner**

**the third winner is**

after i post the giveaway question a lot asked me how this tool works, and that is my answer, enjoy the photos

it comes with lots of pieces

every upper piece related to the piece underneath it

this piece put it inside the spring

like this

and that's how its look like

the same to the other piece
i take the small one and put it inside the hole of the big one

this way

and that how its look like

i take the part with the spring and put it inside the button maker like this

and that how its look like

the buttons part
the buttons comes in two pieces

the almost flat piece i cover it with fabric
and the other one comes underneath it

how?? look at the following pictures

remember this part, we have done it before

i put the piece we are making inside it

after attaching the whole pieces inside that part, i take it and put it above the spring piece

1...2...3 press

it take little effort to work with it because its an antique tool but i like a lot and its reminds me of beautiful days

and now let me show you the giveaway gift samples

i hope you understand my tutorial.

my exited visit to craft land

مرسلة بواسطة miia في 1:06 ص 0 التعليقات
I am so excited to write about this visit, actually I returned back at midnight around 2 in the morning with strong headache or ells i was going to write about since I came back. But the main reason of not posting anything last night is my husband, he hide the broadband because he knew that I am attending to stay late to post it.

Before I begin, I want to thank Mayya, the Omani lady who own sew chic and unique, and she is the one who introduced me to this shop that she never visit, and told me all about it through her mails. So I loved to give this shop part of my time and visit it, so I dedicated this post to her. So let's

when i first arrived i was stunned from the entrance decoration, for the record, the shop is totally new, and opened 3 months ago, second floor in twon center in Dubai - Jumairah.
actually i know this center and i thought its new shop because i always go to the Obarj resturant, and i never see it before.

i talked to the worker their to tell them about the post that i will write about the shop and they told me that i should talk to Janifer, the lady who is responsible of the shop, so i talked to her by phone and i told her about what i am going to do and she welcomed the idea and gave me her email so i send her the post link. and then i started the photo cession..loool

There are Bafaf and brother sewing machine

30 Dirham per yard

go down to see my addiction

down

buttons ....yammmi

the nice workers cutting my fabrics

mine mine mine

those mine too !!

This is my bill, i wonder my husband will take me back

these my stuff

My last impression

The shop has very unique stuff that you will never find it here unless you order it online, however its little bit expensive comparing to our local shops. But its better than online shopping specially that you are physically can test the products.

Jenifer told me that they will provide sewing patterns soon, and they already have quilting and crochet courses, and they will offer online shop so any one in the country can buy easily without the bother to visit. This is the site http://www.mycraftland.com/ and Jenifer is nice lady and very helpful. Pray for me that i can find Barnina shop open next time. I finaly went there.
